Follow-up with Referring Doctors
Patients who are referred to Dr. Steinert by other doctors are returned to
their doctor as soon as treatment has progressed to the point where care can be
fully transferred or jointly co-managed. In addition, Dr. Steinert will send
your doctor a consultation letter detailing his examination findings and
recommended treatment plan.
Why have Regular Eye Exams?
Eye disease can strike at any age. Many eye diseases do not cause symptoms
until the disease has done damage. Since most blindness is preventable if
diagnosed and treated early, regular medical examinations by an ophthalmologist
are very important.
